Obama's new slogan: "Forward!" sounds very similar to "Fore!"

War on Women Alert!
This is a picture of Condoleeza Rice.
She was Secretary of State under George Bush.
She has a Ph.D. in political science.
She's a concert pianist.
She's one of the first women golfers admitted to the Augusta National Golf Club.
This is a picture of her with Mitt Romney helping to plot the Republican War on Women Obama keeps talking about.

She must be really dumb, huh?
Addendum:
A lib on Facebook commented on this with:
"I can't for the life of me figure out what her problem is. Why she would support a party that is so vehemently against equality for her gender? Smart people have their own reasons for doing things that make no sense, I guess."

Obama's America: 2016
There sure seems to be a dearth of blogging about this movie.
I saw it with friends Sunday.
It was not revelatory to me, but it was to my sister-in-law.
The production did not appeal to me.
That's not to say it was bad.
It seemed there was a lot of "filler" montage-like imagery that often led me to think "what am I supposed to get out of that"?.
There was a lot of Dinesh D'Souza's biography.
I understand that it was to contrast his Colonialist past with O'Bama's.
But it wasn't what I was looking for.
I was surprised at the similarity of George Obama (physically) to Barack.
Kinda shoots down any speculation that they did not share the same father.
I assume it was not marketed to me, but to political neophytes or curious undecideds.
I would still recommend this movie, and I'd be interested in hearing opinion on either the movie or on my opinion of the movie.

Another Day
Today is my birthday.
They don't give you the day off at work, so I burned a vacation day.
Actually I took yesterday off to take Scherie to her last visit with the surgeon and decided to take today also.
Early in the day I went to my sons store where he is remodeling and did some electrical work for him which I will finish today. Then we went to the appointment where we reviewed her MRIs and progress and we thanked the surgeon and God.
After that, our very close friends, who had moved to the other side of the mitten (and were in town for a week of training due to his long deserved promotion) stopped by to visit.
We grilled some ribeyes and had a really nice visit.
I've just hit print on a letter to my son and Scherie is about to wake up whether she knows it or not as I must be fed.
I'm drinking a cup of coffee as I type this.
I am not satisfied with the blend.
It is Folger's Black Silk.
I've been drinking various French Roasts over the years but have become disillusioned of late.
I am not a fan of Starbucks, and am not rich enough to afford Dunkin' Donuts or Tim Hortons (my favorite purchased brew) on a regular basis.
I'm leaning towards 8 O'Clock which my sister in law drinks, but brews so weak I can't taste the coffee. I haven't brewed a full strength pot of it yet.
It seems like nothing I brew smells like COFFEE when I bring the mug to my lips.
Any suggestions?.

The Communist
A couple years ago there was a lot of discussion at American Thinker of Frank Marshal Davis, "Frank" of "Dreams From My Father" who was Obama's mentor as a teen.
Paul Kengor has written a book about Davis called "The Communist".
You can listen to the author interviewed here.
And you should.
I just read of Valerie Jarret: "Her step-father, Vernon Jarrett was associated with Frank Marshall Davis, the youthful Barack Obama's mentor from age 10 until college - a Chicago Communist Party (USA) member who moved to Hawaii from Chicago. Frank Marshal Davis is now immortalized in President Barack Hussein Obama's "autobiography" as "Uncle Frank" -- conveniently with no mention of his last name nor who he was."

Employment
Years ago, I took a job as a Maintenance Technician in a bottle mfg plant.
I gave up a Plant Manager position to do that because I was not happy there (it was a union shop).
The Technician spot was supposed to be a highly responsible position involving bringing robotics and automation to the facility.
I ended up greasing machines and sweeping floors.
For a month I wondered what was going on.
I was angry.
At God, at the management that I felt had misled me.
A mutual friend gave me a book at a dinner for our best friends leaving to be missionaries in Haiti.
The book was "Bitterness, the Bait of Satan".
I didn't read past the first chapter the next day (Sunday) as I got everything I needed from that:
The first chapter recounted Joseph in Genesis, who was a favorite son (technicolor dreamcoat), sold into slavery by his brothers, rose to steward a wealthy man's holdings, falsely accused and imprisoned for rape, ends up running the prison, is forgotten by the man he aids to get back into Pharoah's good graces, is finally remembered, brought before pharoah, rules Egypt and confronts his needy brothers with mercy and grace.
Up, down, up farther, down again. Up to the top.
I ended up praying for the management at the plant and resolved to find another job and chill out.
I explained this all to my supervisor the next day when he asked how I was doing.
He asked me to wait for him to return, he'd be back in a few minutes.
Ten minutes later he came back and told me the engineer he reported to wanted to see me.
When I saw that engineer, he told me that the supervisor had just resigned his position and had recommended me for the position.
That supervisor moved into another supervisory position and later gave his life to Jesus and ministers in his church.
This Monday I interviewed for a position at a firm closer to home.
The VP I was speaking with said that they offer a Cadillac Health Care Plan.
I slapped my head and said, "Well, if Romney isn't elected, I'm gonna see my taxes go up."
They made me an offer the next day. I wasn't thrilled with leaving the people I worked with, but I wasn't happy with the position I was in.
I'm not a good negotiator, so I don't try.
I've gotten the best deals when I expressed my honest intent to not purchase something.
I gave notice to our Plant Manager.
I was asked to wait a day before accepting the new position.
The next day he offered a raise and other considerations I never imagined.
I stayed.
I believe God's hand was in this.
For the last few months I wondered why I was going through all the turmoil.
Without the turmoil, I would not have arrived at this point.
I wouldn't have given notice.
You never know why it's happening to you, but it just might be for your own good.
Thanks for listening.

The Romney Ticket
Romney vs Obama= Executive Experience vs Executive Ineptitude.
Paul Ryan vs Joe Biden = (I'm sorry, I can't keep from laughing)
Paul Ryan vs Joe Biden = (I'm sorry, I can't keep from laughing)
I cannot wait for the debates.
If Biden is still on the ticket.

Being There
This is from a 1979 Peter Sellers movie, Being There.
Rent it.
It is not like any other Peter Sellers movie.
It is so understated that it isn't til the closing credits blooper scene that you realize the art Sellers put into the role.
and it explains Obama.
Sellers plays Chance the gardener who is later inadvertently regarded as Chauncey Gardiner.
People read into him whatever they want. Because there's nothing there.
In the end they plan to run him for president.
Because he has no background, no records, nothing to be held accountable for, or against.
Can you imagine that happening in real life?
Here he talks to the president.

A Smile on My Face
Scherie and I went to vote tonight, and at the poll we saw the kind lady who runs the beauty salon on the next street.
The one who would shelter our escape dog Petey and hold her for us.
She would also paint her nails...
Petey was so named for the circle around her eye.
We had to turn her in to the Humane Society after an altercation with some pit bulls that attacked her in front of that salon.
She prevailed, but we faced loss of homeowners insurance after that.
As we checked up on her we found that they had to give her her own room with a couch and TV to keep her from running away.
We never thought of that.
Well, the salon lady told us that one of her clients runs the shelter and told her that Petey was now Petunia and had found a good home.
Then inside, while in line (photo ID required), I saw a guy I worked with years ago in GM Skilled Trades.
He took my e-mail and said the guys in our trade were having a re-union next month.
Made a nice cap to the day.
My sister-in-law starts her new job tomorrow.
God is good.

Rome Wasn't Trashed in a Day: Part 2
I wish I was a graphic artist.
I would create an image that shows the "Sacking of America".
It would reference the Dems taking full power in 2008
looting and pillaging the treasury.
Tormenting the people with the enslavement of debt
and regulations (and Obamacare!).
Then I would show the brave defenders rallying in 2010 to hold the line.
Until the reinforcements arrive in 2012 and rout the enemy!
Anybody know anybody?

Rome Wasn't Trashed in a Day
The government is going to cut about 40% of the military's budget in January.
This means massive layoffs for defense contractors and soldiers/sailors/airmen.
This is because the democrats refuse to cut spending and the republicans refuse to raise taxes.
The WARN Act requires employers to give layoff notices. These will come about four days before the election.
Emperor Obama has decreed that the employers should ignore the WARN Act.
Can you guess why?
Why does the Emperor get to ignore all the laws?
When will congress say enough?

They're getting to recognize my voice.
And they still talk to me!
Me on the radio. About Chick-fil-A and also Israel and Romney (in response to a comment Lib-man made at Z's .)
But you should hear this guy!
Trust me.
