Patriotic Jamming!

OldNFO shared this.
I like it.
You might, too.
I hope so.

Was Stevens sent to his death?

Friends of Ambassador Stevens in Chicago say he was gay. Friends.
Did you know that "In Pakistan, the staff of the US embassy in Islamabad was placed in serious danger after being ordered to host a homosexual pride event. Pakistanis rioted outside the embassy and burned American flags."
Why isn't this front page news?

That was a rhetorical question.

Was Stevens sent to his death?
http://www.examiner.com/article/did-hillary-clinton-send-gay-ambassador-to-libya-as-intentional-provocation

Kind of explains the rape business.

The Arabs knew.
"The Arab media reports that Stevens was beaten, gang raped, killed, and then his body was publicly displayed in a manner similar to Gaddafi."

Everyone Wants to Buy a Boat.

For the last four years we've borrowed trillions of dollars from China to fund Obama's and the democrats spending (and Michelle's vacations), while cutting our military and defense spending.

I wonder where the Chinese are spending all that interest money?

In for Romney

He knows the "dirty job" Obama's done on us.
Now, if he can just attract the women's vote for Romney.

2016 Redux

Real quickly, the movie caught me off guard by starting out comparing Dinesh D'Souza and Obama's backgrounds.
This comports well with the claim that it is not a hit piece but an exposure of Obama's roots.
They are both from colonial backgrounds since Obama was born of a citizen of Kenya and raised in Indonesia, but they had come to different positions.
I was surprised to see that Lolo Sotero was a capitalist and Obama's mom regretted that.

I saw a lot of video montages in between narratives that made me wonder what relation the images had to what I had heard.
I was amazed at George's resemblance to Barack having heard that many thought that Frank Marshall Davis resembled Obama.
I didn't learn anything I didn't already know, but hoped there'd be an appeal to people who needed to see it.
my sis-in-law slept through parts of it.
I did too. Low T?
D'Souza's friend Fish did a review of the film (New York Times) that was pretty good.
A liberal pointed the article out to me put totally misinterpreted Fish's conclusion.
His conclusion was that it was a good film that pointed out Obama's "otherness", his alienation from traditional American values.
He then said that our traditional American values also came from foreign shores so Obama as an American has "American" ideals.
Fish's wife liked the movie. It actually increased her attraction to Obama.

Wow.

Not a football post

It's sad when you see the refs making wrong calls and wrongly influencing the outcome.
Well, that's enough about the media leaning towards Obama.
When will Obama force the NFL refs back?
I expect him to get "personally involved" in the "negotiations" soon.

I know, You know, but I'll say it anyway...

I just have to say this.
We are airing commercials in Pakistan apologizing for the video mocking Islam.

Thus we are airing commercials in Pakistan apologizing for the first amendment.
The rioting muslims could care less about our first amendment.
They want to know why the weak ineffective leader of America hasn't beheaded the perpetrator.
And why an uncovered woman occupied the platform with him.

Also:
When interviewed on Univision, the weak ineffective president of America didn't just say that he couldn't do the hob from inside Washington.
When asked what his biggest failure in his first term was, he replied that it was the failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
That it wasn't improving the job outlook for millions of Americans already here is very telling,
Yet no one remarks on it!
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Unbiased Polling = :)

"So let's just get this straight: more people identify as Republicans than Democrats and Independents break by a double-digit margin for the Romney-Ryan ticket."

The above is from Doug Ross

Quick summary:
Doug Ross (via datechguy, via neo-neocon) refers to a Rasmussen poll on Party Identification which has accurately portrayed results since 2004.

Obama said...

that he'd normalize relations with the Middle East and the muslim world.
That his muslim upbringing had prepared him for this.

Shouldn't he add his personal charismatic touch and go stand in front of an embassy and talk to the protesting crowds?

Without the barrier of secret service "protection" (or Marines without bullets for that matter) that would insulate the crowd from his appeal to them?

Please?

Extremism

Let me tell you what Christian extremists do.
They go to third world countries and build schools, dig wells, organize food delivery, preach the gospel that the Greatest Christian Extremist of All Time died on a cross so that they could be free from fear of death.
Then they sacrifice their lives, not by suicide bombing, but by refusing to stop doing what I described above.
And I'm proud to know and support some of them.
How about you?

This was on Facebook:

The cartoon originally had the Christian saying "Hey let's bomb an abortion clinic".
I took umbrage.
So I posted my version.

An atheist friend felt compelled to comment about my being deluded.

My niece/daughter replied to him:

There are things in this life that cannot be explained no matter how hard you try.
That's one of the beautiful things about God. We can sleep at night knowing that when bad things happen, God is holding us up and giving us strength to got through it. We don't NEED an answer for everything. And we don't have to get bent out of shape when we don't get an answer.
God speaks to us in all sorts of ways. Some of us hear His voice. Some of us feel Him. It's another one of those things that can't be explained.
Miracles happen. We don't have to manipulate or fabricate anything. If you've met people who DID then I an sorry. They only make things more difficult for others. But to be quite honest with you, it's your choice if you decide to hold that against all Christians. You use those manipulations, fabrications and "stories" about a delusional freak to hide behind. Because if there isn't a God to answer to then there is no reason to care. There is no reason to be persecuted and made fun of like the rest of us.
Life is just life and then you die. Right? Have fun will you can. Make money. Get stuff. Fall in love. Have a couple of kids. Grow old. Die.
No God. No reason to live for something greater. No pressure to be better. No one to be accountable to.
I see God everyday. I see Him in my toddlers' faces. When they scrape their knee for the hundredth time and a week later you can't tell it was ever there. I see Him in the fire ants that snuck up on me last week and bit my toes. I see Him in the weeds that are constantly annoying my plants. I see Him every time there is a breeze on a day when the heat index is 110. I hear Him when I wonder how I will let go when my babies get older. I hear Him when I don't know where our rent money will come from. I saw him yesterday when I almost hit a male peacock yesterday on a narrow winding road. I hear Him every time I'm afraid of what will happen in the future.
I see him when I look at the human body. I see Him when I look outside and see the thousands of different plants and bugs.
I see Him every morning when I take medication so my brain will do what it can't do on its own. The people with the incredible minds who created my medication. The people who created the vaccines so my children will have a fighting chance at life.
We are NOT here for nothing. Why would so many amazing things exist just to die away?
Why would we have challenging lives just to die? NOTHING would matter and there would be nothing to live for.
I'm sorry for you, friend. God created you for a purpose and He has an incredible plan for you. And you are missing out on the best thing that ever happened to you.
Christ came to tell us this. He came to show us how to live. That it IS possible to LOVE people who hate us. That it IS possible to give to those who we think don't deserve it. He came to SHOW us who God is.
Dinosaurs existed. No question about it. Why and how did they die? I don't know. Does it really matter. If I had an answer with proof would it really matter to you? Is that what it would take for you to believe in God and His son Jesus Christ?
Why do we ask questions that don't matter? It's in the past.
Why did my father hurt my family? Why do we kill our own kind? Why do natural disasters happen? Why is there a huge famine right now?
Because this is life. Bad things happen. They happen to make us stronger. They happen because God doesn't always choose to stop them. Why doesn't He choose to stop them? I don't know. Sometimes it's to make us stronger. Sometimes it's because He has a plan that requires it.
If you spend your whole life in disbelief just because there aren't solid answers for everything, you will never know TRUE freedom.
There is a God. He exists. Christ existed on this earth and now exists in Heaven.
And someday we will ALL stand in front of Him and be judged for our life here on earth. And those who believed and lived their lives FOR Him, will spend eternity in Heaven WITH Him.
You ARE His beloved son. Whether you want to be or not.
I pray you realize it before it's too late.

I'm so proud of her.

Update on Collusion

Update:
This is the video of the entire presser.
Q&A starts about 2:45
Romney comports himself well, something you may not have seen on Hannity or O'Reilly.

Motivations

After reading a comment from Galt-In-da-Box over at Hoosierboy's:
Is it possible that the president who wants us to have a lower carbon footprint,
who wants to restrict burning fossil fuels and is willing for us to pay higher prices at the pump (or the electric meter) to accomplish this,
would manipulate events or act in such a manner as to encourage such events, in the Middle east as to lead to $6 a gallon gasoline?

Collusion

I commented this in response to a post by CnC.
I haven't seen Romney's responses to the sequence of similar questions, but I hope to soon.
It's like they all prepared the same question, and didn't think to have a second or third, thus they all asked the same question.
Did he not challenge the third and fourth and fifth asking if they were paying attention to the first and second?

Unstable is as unstable does

Obama is a house built on sand.
What storm will it take?
Will it be soon?
Will you regret it or are you prepared to weather it?

2016: Obama's America

A review of the movie by one of D'Souza's friends.

This movie is a blockbuster.
Am I the only one who's seen it?
I don't see much in the blogosphere (I frequent) talk about it.
A liberal on FB linked this review to me, and I pretty much agree with it and told him so.
If you've seen it, what so you think.
If not, why not?

I've been kicked out of better joints than this...

I recently visited a blog and found a post on the subject of evolution.
In comments, I politely disagreed with the host about anyone being crazy for not buying the evolution scam.
As an aside, do you know that you once would have been ridiculed out of the scientific community for not buying into global warming?
Evolution is like that.
If you know me at all, you know I'm not rude or combative generally.
There was a polite reply from the host to my comment.
The next time I went to visit the site I got a message that said:

HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden

Access forbidden. The request generated an error and has been logged.

Silly me, I thought there might be a problem with the website.
Today I went to the blog and found I could access it from work.
Out of curiosity, I went to the post to read my comment and see if I was more contentious than I thought.
Lo and behold, my comment and the reply had been deleted.
I'll miss the snide snarkyness and wit usually displayed at that site, but I'm amazed that someone would react in such a way.

In other news today,
Due to some work related issues and lack of sleep, I am feeling rather down.
I should be up.
The weather is finally nice.
Over the weekend I fixed some holes in the bottom of my boat and it doesn't sink as fast now.
Scherie and I went out on the lake Labor Day evening to watch the sun go down and it was nice.
Until the we heard drunken idiot being towed back to the launch.
Everybody must have heard him.
Bellow is the word that comes to mind.
I still hear echoes of the repetitive F-bomb and the constant reference to the whore (his description) sitting next to him.
I have no idea why the pontoon boat towing him didn't cut him loose.
As I was waiting for Scherie to back up the trailer to pull our boat out, I heard them arguing some more.
She said something to the effect of "I have the keys to the truck and I'm leaving without you."
Whereupon she did.

He did however think to compliment me on my boat (which is a regular occurrence).

I'm just thinking that it's a good thing that his boat was disabled what with his drunken stupidity, the diminished visibility of the evening  and the apparent 450 horsepower of the V8 in the back of his watercraft.

Ahhhh.
Remembering that evening has been a tonic for my soul.

VPOTUS

Conspiracy buffs who think the government can keep everything covered up must come to one of two conclusions:
1) They can't.
2) They just gave up.
