Panic In the Streets

Our Governor in Michigan looked at New York’s Cuomo (500) and said “hold my beer” limiting gatherings to 250.
Then today, closing bars and restaurants and theaters.
People are going to lose their livelihood.
This is what fascism looks like.
Too bad you’re too stupid to make your own decisions on where to go and with who to associate with.
I’m not.
I feel sorry for the business owners going under.
Socialists don’t.
Our First Amendment Freedom of Association is being trampled and no one cares.

When we look back and wonder if we over-reacted, we'll have broken economy, a great depression, and another Dem admin to stretch it out.
This is a weaponized flu, but the left is weaponizing it, not China.

  2. Absolutely Ed, This is what fascism looks like. https://www.businessinsider.com/wef-and-who-launch-covid-action-platform-for-business-2020-3

Money quote "...task force of 200 business leaders — including execs from Alphabet and KPMG."

IOW, corporate leaders. Those in trust with each of other (but still permitting some of them to quashes weaker ones), and in alliance with those in government (until a strongman decides he knows best) who have the power to suppress competitors and critics. This is true fascism as it removes the kinder mask known as globalism.

Why should the enemy be in such agreement and the rest of us targets still be in disarray?

I believe strategically it is long past time we all drop the MSM designation and refer to the predominant propaganda conglomerate as Corporate Media.

A couple of weeks ago -- in a news item to which I called your attention -- AG Barr used that term, Corporate Media, but few have repeated it.

"Recognizing [understanding] your enemy is the first step in defeating him." That's a paraphrase of Sun Tsu's ancient wisdom on warfare. Help fellow patriots recognize their common enemy! We are fighting true fascism. A corporate/government alliance that is sure to be deadly for very many people.

God, most certainly in the form of Natural Law on this side of the veil, is surely in command in that whatever they are up to will lead to their inevitable destruction. However, those of us whom wish to please Him ought do our utmost to aid our brothers who are still in the dark and most likely will be led to their untimely and possibly brutal end.

We can't fight the evil when we cannot agree on what it is because its embodiment has not been defined well enough.

God bless you for trying Ed. Hopefully many more will pass along what you have presented here.

  3. In Arizona, there isn't much closed, but people are staying in, which is a completely different thing. There are only a few cases in Southern AZ so far. None in northern Arizona. Guidelines are one thing. Martial law is something else.

A friend in Italy and I have been chatting. He lives in Northern Italy and said that literally EVERYONE has COVID-19 in various stages and that the infection is being under reported since people are staying in. The police and the army are enforcing the curfew. He's not panicking, he's just staying inside like everyone else. If you want to go to the store, you must apply on-line for a pass. And he said that they strictly enforce the pass. If you violate the martial law, you are fined $300 and the minimum sentence is 3 months in jail. He said that the jails are full and that they're re-thinking locking people up.

    1. I believe that would play out here without much resistance these days from the reaction I get talking to the sheep.

    1. Oh, I did that above. Globalist corporations are what keep MSM afloat so I called them Corporate Media and AG Barr thought of that name too. To me Corporate Media is the worst of the offenders because disinformation and misinformation are not accidents.

  7. It's only a matter of time before things get... difficult in Texas. I'm at a slight remove in the country, but only slight.

As it was in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking until the flood came and destroyed them all. And so we lurch a step closer to the Eschaton. But what does Christ say? Be not afraid.

    Forgive the sermon.
