The Big Switch

One of the liberal talking points has been up to the big switch between the political parties where the Dems became defenders of civil rights and the Republicans became racists.

That, of course, is false.

But now the Dems are the party of the wealthy, and the Republicans are the party of the little guy.

That's the Big Switch.

  1. Everything is topsy-turvy and few seem to care.
    Sad, isn't it.

    3. I can't argue, but look at what the Georgia legislature is doing. Finally.
And the Va judge who forbade any more late vote counting.

  2. While I agree that, in the background, the Democrats are the party of the Big Guy (aka, corporate giants, the Big Tech giants, etc), they are much more than that. To me, they are primarily the Party of Perversion. They are the ones aligned with the news outlets that pervert the truth. They are with the larger sectors holding the various alphabet perversions (LGBTQ ... ). They are the party disowning God while embracing the cult of death.

If you couldn't guess, I could go on for a while on this.

    1. Note that I did not say really anything about the party of the cowardly lion.

  3. And what a switch it's been. The Left now openly despise their working class underlings in favor of... transsexuals.

Well, nothing says Vanguard of the Revolution like a solar powered trans toilet.

    1. A solar powered trans toilet implies there is a trans.
A trans implies a change from something.
How can you trans from something you supposedly already was?
It's almost like a time travel conundrum.

  4. Wouldn't we like to USE a BIG SWITCH on the lies about Republicans and racism....what a JOKE. Do Dems not SEE the fabulous Blacks working FOR the Republican party? John James, the Juan Williams sons, Leo Terrell, Larry Elder, etc etc...............they're few but pretty mighty and OUT THERE....
And, yes, I BELIEVE that Biden will REALLY push more and more blue collar workers toward the GOP; just look at the rising gas prices ALREADY, the very idea of bringing in so many illegals who'll be asking for social security the minute he makes them citizens, though they haven't paid into it, etc etc...losing jobs, etc....
what a stupid man he is. From Trump to Biden; THAT's a SWITCH. For the worst.

  5. How did you like them wheeling in his gold statue at CPAC? tak about a golden calf. I'm surprised the evangelicals stand for it.

    1. I have no idea about a statue at CPAC. I've been at work all day.
Many evangelicals are grateful that God gave us DJT.
A president who pushed back at the leftist oppression of religious freedom, which the left is now doubling down on with the "Equality Act".

    2. According to (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gold-colored-statue-trump-cpac)Fox News, a gold-colored Trump statue was created by Tommy Zegan and brought to CPAC by him.

Two central and consecutive paragraphs of the article say:

"According to Zegan, there is a lot of "symbolism" in the statue. The suit represents that Trump is a businessman, the red tie is symbolic of the Republican party. His red, white and blue shorts show that "he is a patriot." He’s wearing sandals because "he’s of that age where he should be retired and out on the beach somewhere" but he’s not. The magic wand he’s holding harks back to a 2016 comment that former President Barack Obama made to Trump when he said, "What magic wand do you have?" to bring jobs back to the US. Lastly, he’s holding the constitution because "it’s something he believes in."

Zegan said he does not want the statue to represent an "idol" for people to worship. He wants everyone, even liberals, to laugh and pose for photos next to the figure."

Unlike the characterizations in CNN, most evangelicals do not see this as an idol (probably because neither Trump nor others demanded we bow down and worship the statue).

Oddly enough, there is a situation that CNN could report on due to the Biden administration's demands that we bow down and worship transsexualism, but they won't go there. As you have noted, they won't report on the overreach of "The Equality Act."

    3. Excellent. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in bringing that to my/our attention.

  6. I think it's about obfuscation. Keeping those that don't have time to examine the nuances of politics uncertain is a powerful way to control by pandering and skullduggery. If there is anything to focus on, it's the personal finances of all that feed at the public trough. If this was carefully examined, the actual benefactors of the supposed public good wouldn't be those with nothing to influence but a vote.

It amazes me when I tell co-workers something that I thought was obvious and they look at me quizzically.
