You'd think I'd be tired of hearing my own voice.

But maybe you're not.

On Bennett this morning, a guy calls in and complains how he lost his health care due to Obama. I called in after and pointed out that he was a guy that wouldn't vote for Romney because Romney was a Mormon.

  1. Was it so much that people didn't want to vote for the Mormon or the fact that Romney (or the Republican party in general) failed to market Romney well enough as a much better alternative to another four years of Obama? That Romney couldn't overcome his RINO image? This question coming from a Mormon himself.

  2. In "Ken from Livonia's" case, it was specifically that Romney is a Mormon.
I tried to correct Bill, but you can only hear me a little in the background doing it.
I feel there was NO reason not to vote Romney, given the alternative.

  3. Ed guarding the Michigan phone (so I don't have to). Thank you for your service sir! All kidding aside, you make a good point. Romney wasn't my first choice but I voted for him when it came time.

  6. My gosh! I thought I'd come and let you know how much I thought of your call to Bennett and I must have got busy... I'm so sorry. And Glad I came by today.
Ed, you were WONDERFUL and it was so clear that Bennett was thinking JUST what YOU had the guts to say! "YOU voted for him, pal....don't complain now!" PERFECT. I loved when Bennett asked if you'd ever spoken to that guy....I thought for a second he might arrange you two on the radio. Wouldn't that be great?
Keep up the good work...CnC is right!

May I also say I think diamond dave is correct? I have always wondered WHY the GOP seemed to go out of its way to REALLY stand behind Romney. The rumors were that they didn't want Paul Ryan out there much, either. And, suddenly, there he was , after the rumors, but only 2 days or so before the election.
And, I remember Palin's bus brigade showing up in towns where Romney was showing up in buses parked on the other side of town...she sucked some of the air out of him. I'll not forget that ....I have to admit I still have some bitterness toward her politically.

    1. I never understood your antipathy to Palin before, no I do.
But Romney was doomed by those on the right who refused to vote for him because he was "ruthless" in his campaign (Gingrich) or a Mormon, or not conservative enough.
