Pushing the Envelope

I hosted my Bible Study last night online with some conferencing software.
It was like hosting a radio show with callers.
But all conferencing hubs (Skype, etc,) are overwhelmed right now and the audio was "choppy".
Still, we fellowshipped around God's Word and we were gathered, so He was there :)

  1. Part of traditional Bible study is as much fellowship as absolute information shared. I hope things get back to normal soon.

    1. Yep. I miss the sitting across from each other.
And it was difficult for people to voice there opinions because we couldn't see each other's faces and who would speak in a pause.

  2. Cisco's WebEx usage is up 50% in North America, and has tripled in Europe and Asia. Video quality is being degraded to meet the meeting capacity demand load while they add more servers.

    Audio quality is good, though.

  3. Good, and yes, audio is going to be hard pressed to keep up.

    1. I hope this 'social distancing" isn't an attempt to paralyze social activity for cultural, political purposes.
