Cheryl Chumley Interview

Your American Heritage Jun 11 2022

Good afternoon and welcome to Your American Heritage

It’s Day 507 of the coup, the theft of the American Government, by enemies both foreign and domestic.

As Pat Colbeck said here last week, that’s not a glib statement to make.
Our federal government has been stolen by illegal actions by leftist politicians.

The Supreme Court on Thursday voted that a Pennsylvania county may count mail-in ballots that do not comply with a state law requiring voters to write the date on the ballot’s envelope. Justices Alito, Gorsuch and Thomas dissented and wanted this on the October Docket before the November elections.
When someone tells you that there has been no evidence of election fraud or that no court has ruled that there was election fraud, ask them when the case was presented before a jury. You know, a trial.

Speaking of the Supreme Court, we saw, this week, an attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh.
Is this related to threats and encouragement by Left wing politicians?

When asked by Peter Doocy, the White House spokes-lesbian said that peaceful protest in front of a Justice’s home is acceptable.
Remember that the BLM/Antifa riots were considered “peaceful protest”. Words matter.

Remember the protest against the GOP congressmen who were playing baseball? Steve Scalise among others was almost killed in that protest.

BTW, why is every mass shooter or assassin a leftist whack job, usually on medication, medications that don’t seem to have the desired effect. Unless that is the desired effect?

When patriots have a peaceful protest, where no one but an unarmed protester was shot and killed, why do we have a congressional show trial? Why are over 800 protesters, in fact even people who weren’t protesting, hunted down and still in jail?

We had a Candidate for governor, Ryan Kelly, on this show a couple months ago for a conversation and he struck me as a rational, patriotic Christian gentleman who wants to bring Constitutional behavior back to this state.
Thursday morning, the day of Nany Pelosi’s Marxist Political Show Trial, Ryan was arrested for his participation in the Jan 6th protest of the theft of the election. They waited a year and a half to throw him in irons. What a threat he must be!
Let me remind the audience of what a Marxist Show Trial is. It was famously applied in Soviet Communist Marxist Russia.
A trial was held, with a foregone conclusion, and instead of it being a secret trial, the norm, it was an excuse to send a message to anyone else thinking of dissenting from the government position.

This is exactly what the Jan 6th hearings and arrests are about. Speak up about a stolen election and end up in jail for a couple years over a misdemeanor. Lose your business, miss your kids growing up, suffer health issues and be tormented for showing up at a protest that was 98% peaceful, the non-peaceful part being agitated by Government agents like Ray Epps.
This is how Socialists function, among other methods. A total disregard for the Constitution, the Law of the Land.
“the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution,” Barack Obama NPR 2001

My guest today has written a few books about the encroachment of socialism in our country

Like many, she believes that there is a spiritual component to this struggle.
You don’t have to be a Christian to come to this conclusion, but it helps, and it makes you effectual in spiritual warfare.
I’ve heard non-Christians, say this is evil in our face.

This is spiritual warfare. Good vs Evil.Psalm 144 Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle. My lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge.

Clasp your hands and fingers together, bow your heads and,
Let’s pray, Let’s go to war.

Father in Heaven, Lord of Armies we come before You, we ask You to protect us from these oppressors. We ask you to come to our aid. We ask you to come to the aid of the over 800 people in D.C. jails, the ones who are holding prayer meetings and praising your name.
As for the criminals in our government:

We ask you to bring them to a place of repentance, a penitentiary or both.

We ask that you move by Your Spirit to Awaken those asleep to the threat to their nation and their souls. t woke.

That as the statue in Detroit says, from 2 Corinthians 3:17: Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.

Amen.

    1. They are running scared. I'm normally opposed to the death penalty and we don't have one, but....

  2. Good guest! Yes, I've commented here before about Naomi Wolfe offering her current conclusion that this whole mess has a spiritual force involved, and it's evil.

We are in skirmishes that are all part of the larger war - the war against God. Well put. Back up a few feet, and look at the map like in a police situation room. The little dots all over the map align toward a purpose. And we're in trouble. As John MacArthur noted this morning, we set aside one day to celebrate those who died protecting our nation and a whole month to celebrate perversion.

We made government to secure the rights God gave us. As I've posted elsewhere that when we began to call government officials "our leaders" instead of "our representatives" we had already lost the picture and taken a step toward servitude.

The New Deal socialist? Ed, Ed, in spades! Read Jim Powell's FDR's Folly and Amity Shlaes' The Forgotten Ma. New Deal's legacies were massive expansion of government power and loss of liberty. To them recovery of private, productive employment wasn't the chief aim. They saw business as cause of depression and engineered massive transfer of private capital to public expenditure.

    I enjoyed the interview.

    1. Thanks. I'll be frank. You are my target audience.
If I can get erudite listeners like you to like the broadcast, I know I'm on target.
"we set aside one day to celebrate those who died protecting our nation and a whole month to celebrate perversion."
      MacCarthur was insightful.
I've heard Amity speak on The Forgotten Man enough to not buy it :)

  3. Sweet!

That's too bad - Forgotten Man is a good book. Do you know who that man is? It's the middle class, tax paying hard worker who keeps getting asked to give more (taxes) to others who contribute less. He was kind of a charicature from a late 1800's piece. FDR stole the phrase and made it something that fit his welfare state. She revives the real meaning. Al Smith was a forgotten man of that era. A poor man from mean background, he was aghast at Roosevelt's class warfare strategy in 1932 campaign. That is a long trick in the Democratic play book. There is so much to see in the book about the cycle of human behavior, but I understand if you don't like her style.

In FDR's folly we learned he issued more executive orders than all presidents combined Truman through Clinton. Shades of today. That comes under the headline POWER GRAB. They judged capitalism by its presumed effects, and government by its intentions. See? Nothing's changed.

I posted elsewhere today about being inspired by your happy warrior outlook. Keep it up, my friend!

    1. I came across wrong about The Forgotten man. What I meant to say was that I had heard so much about it, and from her, that I no longer felt the need to read it.
      I'll get it.

    2. Thank you for your kind words there.
It felt odd looking through the window.

  4. Late to the party...but excellent Ed, great guest and terrific commentary. The "rising up" within the Christian community is an absolute necessity, otherwise God will not shine favor on America and the reprobates will continue undermining everything We The People know to be good and true.
