I spoke with Davidson Loehr, author of Hollow Gods.
Davidson is one of those guys we call changers.
Like a lot of us , he discovered he was on the wrong side and made changes accordingly.
He was a Unitarian-Universalist minister.
If you're not familiar, U-U is the religion for atheists.
Secular humanists. Liberals.
Davidson explains how we got from The Port Huron Statement with Tom Hayden, the SDS, the Weathermen to the loonies on campus protesting for Hamas.
Davidson points out that we have left our moorings as a Godly nation.
But human nature abhors a vacuum and there will always be a god in our lives.
When you pick the wrong one you get the wrong results.
Paganism doesn't serve it's culture well.
