On Fatherhood

I have three boys. One is bio, one is step and one is adopted.
One owns his business, one is a  CPO in the USN, and the other a federal inmate.
You do your best, there are no guarantees.
There is:
"Raise up your child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it."
I often wonder how old he has to be.
I "adopted" a niece when she turned 18 and helped her through some rough times.
She calls me dad.
I walked her and her sister each down the aisle.
I am proud.
