Pick A Side. Just Do It.

I see this face in this ad and I'm reminded of someone.
Advertising is never an accident.
I mean when professionals do it, not me.

So are we, or better yet, is the target audience supposed to think of and relate to this other "revolutionary"?
I think so..
You?

BTW, see a swoosh on someone? Let them know they took a side.
Because they did.

  1. They're not the first, and they're not the only ones.....but Nike perverted the definition of Sacrifice.

  2. It's hard for me to determine their target audience. Professional college students that will never be a productive member of society? Ignorant people that don't know the name of the Vice President? Rich white liberals that probably haven't purchased a sneaker ever? I don't know, but it's obvious Nike has some customers.

It's like the NFL kneeling debacle. I've watched relatives complain, and then turn the television to watch the NFL game. I just shake my head and leave the room. Arguing with ignorance is like wrestling a pig in the mud.

  3. I have a pair of Nike cross-trainers purchased several years ago. They're used only for yard work, now. The dust and/or mud covers the swoosh nicely.

    1. My niece got a little upset with the notion of throwing hers away, just because they cost so much.
I think a felt or paint marker could obscure the swoosh.
      Or mud :)

  4. I think Jess nailed the target audience. And there are a lot of them. The ride is only going to get bumpier and bumpier.
