It has come to my attention that a number of people are not commenting here because they can't.
This happened with LL and I suggested that he create a new Google account to comment with because using Chrome, you can switch easily (one click) between accounts.
He did not have Chrome, he had Safari.
When he installed Chrome, it seems the problem went away.
I know Greybeard can't comment here, and Mustang tells me he can't comment someplaces, including here.
I just discovered Mustang is using Safari.
Is this the issue?
People avoid Chrome because Google.

I've been replying to comments on my own blog via iPhone, but lost the ability to post replies a few days ago. No problem doing it on the home PC. Yet.

Just tried to comment here using my iphone and the safari browser and it does not work. Can't comment on my own either. Only works when using my chrome browser from my desktop. Unless this doesn't work either, in which case you should ignore this.
If I can, I'd like to remain a luddite. ;)

You must use Chrome (or Chrome for Mac) if you want to blog. I learned this the hard way.

Chrome is, I think, "Open Source", which means it can be used to create custom versions without things like backdoors, data logging, etc.
I use Firefox, and rarely have trouble.

Thanks for your help, Ed. I'm using Chrome right now. Don't like to do it, but as LL said, it's the price you pay if you want to blog. I did place a picture of my recent colonoscopy on my computer though, so that if the NSA really wants to know what's going on with me, they'll have a bird's eye view of what I really think of their campaign of domestic spying.
