James Rosen and Antonin Scalia

My guest is James Rosen.

He is the chief White House correspondent for Newsmax, after years of reporting at Fox News. During the Obama administration, Rosen was placed under surveillance by the FBI and censored by the State Department.

Truly a man ahead of his time.

James Rosen recently wrote "Scalia: Rise to Greatness | 1936-1986" and that’s what we’ll be talking to him about today.

We talked about his driving habits, his affiliation with Opus Dei, his large family and his wife Maureen who deserves a book of her own.

Enjoy:

  1. Thank you for reminding us of the lawlessness of Obama in his surveillance and censoring of James Rosen. Thanks also for interview centering on the Scalia book. We cannot afford to forget our great minds.

    1. The most interesting story of the lot (to me) was that of the eggs cooked the morning after it was decided that burning the flag was Constitutionally-protected free speech. That shows both the forgiveness demonstrated by a Christian wife and the conservative values she held.

  2. Loved this! Fascinating. Such an interesting guest. Scalia would have been right at home in Rome, driving. :) A high Latin mass, eh. He'd be on the list of a certain 3-letter agency now!

    1. It's amazing the FBI did not catch on to his friend, the priest.

Please stop deleting all of those interesting comments. It's not fail to us readers who want to read them and it it not fair to the person that wrote them. Thanks Ed

    1. They are off topic and don't relate to my post.
      I find that rude.
I've actually let stand comments that were selling something if they at least gave a nod to my post.
It's like someone coming into my house and ignoring what I have to say while they post what they want.
      It's rude.
Especially the ones that refer to some woman at some leftist blog that I have no interest in.
I frankly don't understand the motive of those.

    2. And the person that wrote them usually pastes them at a number of blogs. So it's not like they're unique efforts.

Ed, don't be like that Progressive Idiot SHAW... Who won't allow anything that she doesn't agree with. Sometimes "Off Topics" comments are more interesting then the comments that are on topic. A good blogger needs to bend a little, so don't be so fussy..

    5. Anonymouse, I find your contradicting the host to be rude and insensitive. His blog, his rules. On the blog I cohost we allow some off topic banter, but comments such as yours and far off topics, you get the ban. Don't get started with spam and some one selling something and offering ridiculous amounts of money sitting in front of a computer.
