In Luke chapter 6, Jesus heals the hand of a man on the Sabbath, a day on which no work was to be done.
The rulers we're seeking to prosecute Jesus because he wasn't conforming to their rules and didn't meet their expectations.
They saw a miracle in a good deed with good results and sought to kill the man who performed a miracle because he did not conform to their Worldview.
How twisted do you have to be to ignore the evidence of good works right in front of you and instead attack the man who is responsible for the good that's been done?
That's a political post.
