We all know of the Steele Dossier that alleges Russian influence on the political decisions of Donald J Trump.
Charges that such links would be treasonous.
Adam Schiff, the well-respected democrat, has begun a congressional investigation into this.
Surely, somewhere is the smoking gun that links President Trump to the Russians!
Some outrageous behavior that would allow them to blackmail him!
Because Russian or communist influence over a political candidate for president would be a scandal.
If only they had caught Trump on video, drunk, singing a Woody Guthrie (fellow traveler) song.
Surely any candidate caught doing that would be disqualified and shamed.
