I'm kind of behind posting.
I spoke with Major General James Mukoyama a couple weeks ago.
Jim served in Korea in the DMZ and then in Vietnam under Lt Col David Hackworth.
He made a principled decision to speak the truth and thus ended his military career, similarly as Hackworth had done.
He went on to contribute to the community and the nation in other ways.
His Grandfather came from Japan to try to restore the family fortune.
His father came from Japan to restore his grandfather to Japan.
And then his father stayed.
And then his father stayed.
It's a great story.
