Flood Update

Well, I'm slow on the uptake, but it just occurred to me that when the room flooded:
Insurance paid people to take out the stuff I couldn't bring myself to.
And they're storing it.
And they will pay for a remodel I've wanted for years.
The stuff I wanted to get rid of for years, but Scherie couldn't part with, is gone now, and we get paid for it!
Just have to figure out how we want to reconfigure the room.

Now that it's dry.

  1. You have a high water line, so make everything below water proof. Stainless sheeting comes to mind, but I doubt your insurance company will pay for it....although it does clean up with little effort, and lasts forever.

  2. Well, there you go! One door closed, but you got a lot of stuff OUT OF THERE which you wouldn't have had this not happened , BEFORE it closed :-)
Thanks for sharing that with us!

  3. When clients see the local number appear, they are more likely to feel a sense of connection than if they saw a long distance company number or Business Phone Service appearing. People appreciate personal communication, and Houston telephone numbers can help facilitate that sense of personal interconnection.
